QW 030612 “Hand Cream Therapy”

Just before starting today’s class, I sudden smelled something really nice. It was like aromatic scent, fresh and soothing. I was wondering if someone was wearing a perfume or spraying aromatic water somewhere. The scent was so nice that I couldn’t resist asking the students, “Does this room smell very nice?” Then one of the female students spoke up and told me if it was the hand cream she just applied to her hands. She went so far as to propose me to try the hand cream myself, which in fact emitted refreshing aroma once applied to my left hand. I never fail to apply hand cream whenever I feel I need to. I’d really hate that my hand go dry and rough. For skin protection, the cream that contains a certain amount of sheer butter is best. But for therapeutic purposes, the hand cream with fine aroma is nice. I sometimes recall a colleague from my ex job. She was a head teacher of a branch school and had to handle business matters and educational matters, which were never easy. When she came back to a small teacher’s room after having a talk with a rather difficult and/or demanding prospective student, or when she had a briefing with an area manager who was always aggressive toward making profits, she put a very nice, rose-like smelling cream on her hands. A fragrance soon spread the small teacher’s room and the nice aroma would let us know she had survived some difficult situations. We all knew that was her “Hand Cream Therapy”.
